	Cup2000 was developed in a Danish version in 2000 for the Badminton Association of Denmark. It was a requirement that Cup2000 should be equally suited for large international tournaments as well as for minor local tournaments. That this has been accomplished is proven by the fact that Cup2000 today is not only used by the Badminton Association of Denmark for national and international tournaments, but also by *more than 250* regional associations and local clubs in Denmark for national, regional and local tournaments.

	Recently Cup2000 was used by the Badminton Association of Denmark to plan and run the 5-star World Grand Prix tournament Denmark Open 2006. 	Another large event, at least in terms of number of participating players, where Cup2000 was used to plan and run the tournament, was the Danish Championships in Badminton for *ALL* registered youth players, *DMU 2006. The players were separated into 4 age groups (U19, U17, U15 and U13), and each age group was separated into 4 classes based on strength (Master, A, B and C). With 5 events in each class (men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles) a total of 80 events was reached. The total number of players was more than 800* and the tournament was played in around 20 different locations.
